Prevent Alzheimer’s Disease 2020, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, formalizes a new and exciting national effort aimed at ultimately preventing Alzheimer’s disease and other degenerative brain diseases affecting memory, movement or mood.   With the support of over 200 key opinion leaders in the Alzheimer’s research enterprise, Prevent Alzheimer’s Disease 2020—or PAD 2020—seeks increased investment for research, improved selection and use of research resources, and rapid advances necessary for the development of new therapies to treat and possibly prevent these diseases.
